Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why?
I think, that it depend's how the blogger does it, like if they are compulsive about it its bad, they began to neglect the world around them and get sucked into the blogging addiction.
What makes another person's blog worth reading?
Information that someone want's to read, or interesting topic's or post that attract people to reading it.
By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why?
There should be a few rules, like dont flame other's post if u dont like what they have to post dont read it.
Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why?
Constant blogging could be categorized as both a past time and an unhealthy obsession. I would say that constant blogging like in the cases of the people in this article it was an unhealthy obsession.
What makes another person's blog worth reading?
Another person's blog may be interesting due the topics that are brought up, or maybe even that person's life and experiences are much different than yours and you want to read about it.
By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why?
I think that bloggers should limit themselve to an hour of blogging time a day, that way they are updating everyday but not too obsessive about having it all done.
1.) Yes I believe that constant blogging for no reason other than wanting to is unhealthy for you and for your family because they become neglected and you become addicted to the computer.
2.) Another person's blog can be worth reading if I know the person and they have something written that is interesting to me. I like reading about my friends' vacations and looking at the pictures that they upload.
3.) Yes I think that there should definitely be boundaries to blogging. I don't think that inappropriate things should be posted. Also, some innermost thoughts should be kept to yourself and not for others to read.
1. I think blogging in general is not a bad thing, but constant blogging, and believe me I know people who do this, definitely have a problem, yes.
2. Seriously the thing that can make you want to read another stranger’s opinion on a random topic written in journal entry form would have to be a shared liking or a familiarity with the person themselves. If you know or would like to know this person (maybe a celebrity) or if you by chance run across a blog through searching a topic of your choice you may read and get involved in this.
3. When it comes to rules for individual blogs, you have to go by the rules of that particular website that the blog is on. Other than this, the opnions shared in what way they are presented are based on the writer and their ability to obey the rules.
1. I feel that blogging indicates a sign of harmless, spirited pastime because people are just going over there thoughts and what happened on days or in their lives, sometimes people need to get things off od there chest, because I do sometimes but not very frequently.
2. What makes another persons blog worth reading is when something interesting or bad is happening in their lfe.
3. What rules I think fellow bloggers should abide is to always stay anonymous because they let others have interesting things to read but just dont let them know who you are so they dont have nothing against you.
yes i do think that constant blogging indicatses signs of an unhealthy obsession becasue it makes you miss out on things that you need to do or should be doing in life.
what makes another persons blog worth reading is that other peoples lives seem more interesting than your own life so hearing about what people go threw draws you in.
some rules for blogging should be
1)Can only be on for an hour at the most!
2)Can only be on from 11am-4pm
3)No more than 10 bloggs a day
1.) I think blogging can start out as a harmless, spirited pastime but end up being an unhealthy obsession if it gets to out of control.
2.) If the content of another persons blog is exciting than it makes someone want to read it.
3.) Bloggers should only spend a sertain amount of time blogging, no more.
1. I think to much of blogging is very unhealthy its basically addicting like myspace. It can cause you not to do work that has to be turned in and it can destroy your life.
2. Personally I think it’s more of a confidence issue because I think some people needed reassurance that someone out there has a worse life than you, or has the same life you two or more people can relate to the blog via comments. Or they just want to be in other peoples business.
3. I think bloggers should mandate their time, because no body should be blogging more than twice a day or more than an hour a day. It’s just simply unhealthy, they should actually go out and have friends and just have fun. I would rather be out enjoying myself than sitting at home on the computer writing about my issues or what happened today.
Yes I do believe that blogging constantly is unhealthy people should be out living life not living threw the computer. Though if a person has a juicy fun filled life I would read their blogs. But there should be some type of restriction on how much a person is able to bog.
1)Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why?
A) Yes, it shows that people have no lifes and they seriously need to get a girlfriend and spend alot of special time with them (I.E. Fossum you know what im talkin about) :-)
2)What makes another person's blog worth reading?
A) Nothing is interesting about blogs.. they are point stories about people's boring lives.
3)By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why?
if I dont think blogs should exist then I don't think there should be any rules
1.) Yes i do because as another student noted, they take up time, they take away from your girl friend, and it also takes away from your life because you are constantly on a web site talking and talking and talking.
2.)If their topic is about one of my interests or even catches my attention then yes, I will read it, i think that for the most part i do like reading what people say but don't expect me to post back because I have other things to do.
3.)Obviously you dont want to be vulgar nor impose racism but in any case just keep it clean, and do what you want to do.
1.) Do you think constant blogging indicated signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why? Yes because being addicted to something is bad in general. Being addicted basically take over your time and your life.
2.) What makes another person’s blog worth reading? Anything that’s very interesting. If you go in depth, express feelings and if it’s crazy.
3.) By what “rules” do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why? Don’t stalk them, don’t make funny of it because somebody actually took time to write about their ordeals and experiences. Really no rules right now because you can delete their comment if you don’t like it and besides it was your choice to post it in the first place.
1. I think that constant blogging is an unhealthy obsession. There is nothing wrong with having a blog, since it is a way for people to vent their thoughts and feelings but when people get to the point when they can't miss a post then I feel that it becomes unhealthy.
2. People are attracted to other people's blogs when they share a common interest because they can easily relate with eachother.
3. Fellow bloggers shouldn't post anything that other bloggers wouldn't want to read. I don't think that there are any "real" rules to blogging though.
1.) Constant blogging is extremely unhealthy. The people who are attached to this activity, need to get back to reality and try to advance thier lives
2.) Another persons blog could be interesting to me if, it was about a topic that played on one of my interests
3.) Respect should be the only rule. No racail terms or threatening remarks
yes i do think that constant blogging is unhealthy because you block everything out around you includeing family becasue your addictited to the computer.
another persons blog is only worth reading if i know them or what ever the person is talking about in the blog is interesting.
i think they should follow all the rules that are indicated on the websites. i also think that some stuff people say should be limited and some thoughts shouldn't be talked about.
1: I think that blogging is just something that people do in their spare time, that it is very harmless.
2: Another's persons blog can be worth reading is if it has alot of druama in it.
3: Is that don't harrass people becuase then they will start to feel werid.
1.) Yes I think that constant blogging with no reason behind it other than because you want to is unhealthy. It can cause your family and friends to become neglected.
2.) I only read someone’s blog if it is someone that I know and they have something posted such as vacation experiences and/or pictures.
3.) I think that there should definitely be boundaries when creating and posting blogs. There should never be anything inappropriate because those thoughts and opinions are things that should be kept to yourself and not for others to see.
1.) Yes blogging all the time basically shows you are obsessed and you need to do other things with their time.
2.) Someone being neby makes other people's blogs worth reading
3.) Keeping personal events and experiences to themsleves.
1. Yes, I do think that constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession. I feel this way because, if it gets to the point where someone is on a romantic vaction but get up to blog in the bathroom; while his wife is in the other room then it is a problem. But if you know how to manage your time and don't spend your life in front of a computer then you should be fine.
2. I guess that to see what is thinking, and to see what someone true feeling are is what makes someones blog worth reading.
3.I think that the rules that a fellow blogger should follow are, don't spend to many hours on the computer, and think what you are putting on your page. And also what ever the website wishes stsays confidential.

What makes another person's blog worth reading?
i occasionally look at other peoples blogs just to see what their thoughts are, and if their thoughts relate to mine.
By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why?
just be nice. the same rules that should apply in everyday life.
Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why?
I feel that constant blogging is an obsession because you really don't absolutely need to do it, but if you're posting every once in a while it would just be a hobbie.
What makes another persons blog worth reading?
I think similar interests and a little humor would make another persons blog worth reading.
By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why?
Only posting a maximun of 3 times a day to keep it from becoming an obsession and don't put anything to personal, for example, don't put anything on the web that you wouldn't want to discuss with people, it would be pointless.
Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why?
In my opinion, constant blogging is a negative thing. However, refering to it as an unhealthy obsession may be a bit exteme (in most cases). Blogging can be very enjoyable to many people, just at television or sports could be for others. When a hobby becomes unhealthy or negative is when that hobby begins to effect one's work/school/personal life off of the internet in a negative way.
What makes another person's blog worth reading?
In my opinion, a blog is worth reading when the blogger writes detailed, specific and interesting stories about their personal lives.
By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide by and why?
For the most part, the rules should be the same as they are when you are speaking with someone in person.
Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why?
No, As long as that person is not committing a crime, then there is no foul
What makes another person's blog worth reading?
A person’s blog can be worth reading if the information written is relevant to the reader.
By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why?
None, if someone makes the choice to write something inappropriate or offensive, then the reader has the same right to not read the offensive material.
1.Do you think constant blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession or a harmless, spirited pastime? Why? I wouldn't say I was a unhealthy obsession because its just something to do to occupy your time.
2.What makes another person's blog worth reading? I would say another persons blog would be interesting to me if their topic was something I can relate to.
3.By what "rules" do you think fellow bloggers should abide and why? One rule I think bloggers should follow is to watch their language and make sure the topic is apropriate.
Thanks, Mrs. Fossum its really interesting to hear how many people suffer from migraines. All the things that we've been doing in class have helped me so much. I really know that migraines is the right topic for me, and I would be really happy for your help.
